What is Baptism?

At Shepherd, we believe that baptism is a sacrament, something that God does for us. We believe that those who receive baptism are cleansed from sin through the washing of water with the Word (Ephesians 5:26). In the waters of baptism, we are buried with Jesus in his death and raised to new life through his resurrection (Romans 6:3-4).
