Children matter at Shepherd! Children’s ministry programming exists to connect children to God’s greater story by nurturing growth in faith, providing opportunities to learn and grow in a community of friends, and extending opportunities for children to be mission-minded. Faith Weavers (Toddlers-5th grade) – Opening in the School Cafeteria Faith Weavers Parents – School Cafeteria, starts after the children’s opening Sunday School– Sunday school begins in the cafeteria with kid’s style worship in a large group setting. Children learn about Jesus, pray together, sing together, and have fun! After the large group time, children join their teachers in small groups where Bible story concepts are taught in a variety of active and creative ways linking Bible learning with daily life experiences. Sunday school is a growing place and there is always room for your child! Seasonal Activities– Special events for children and their families are planned throughout the year. Participation in Worship– Periodically, our children and our Little Lambs Choir will participate in worship on Sunday mornings. Share this:FacebookTwitterEmailPrint
