Kids Ministry
Kids at Shepherd of the Hills GATHER together to GROW in Christ. They do this through worship, learning about God's Word, having fun together, and giving back to God.
SHEPHERD'S KIDS
At all weekend services, children have the opportunity to learn about the Bible through an interactive lesson designed just for them.
Children are dismissed midway through the service. You may collect your child from their room at any time.
August - May
Children gather based on age
3 years - 1st grade meet in Room B (downstairs)
2nd - 5th Grade meet in the Youth Room (upstairs)
June - August
All children meet upstairs in the Youth Room
God's Word is a Treasure
This spring we are offering a class designed for second-grade students and their parents. In a three-week course, children learn more about what the Bible is, how to use a Bible, and ways the Bible applies to their lives.
At the end, students are presented with their very own Bible in worship!
2025 class dates
March 16- 3 to 4 pm
March 23- 3 to 4 pm
March 30- 3 to 4 pm
April 6- Bible Presentation in worship
Offering Envelopes
Children of all ages can learn to serve and give back to God. At Shepherd, we want to make this a big deal! Each weekend, every child at Shepherd will have the opportunity to participate by personally filling out their weekly envelope and placing it in the offering plate during worship. If you'd like kid-friendly envelopes for your child, please sign up below to receive a set of 10 each quarter.
